Since inception in 2014, we have had over 650 contributors and 8 commercial sponsors. Contributions from your neighbors average $30. Please join your neighbors and local businesses who support us.
Contributions to Safer Rockridge are not tax-deductible. The organization’s application for 501(c)3 nonprofit status was denied, consistent with the experience of other groups providing similar services.

We need assistance with the following:
  • Public safety (neighborhood watch, “National Night Out,” CERT, etc.)
  • Marketing/communications
  • Fundraising/development
  • Online advertising
  • Research/survey design
  • Graphic design
  • Web development
  • Volunteer/project/event management
How funds are used
Safer Rockridge Patrols are a FREE service to all, funded by your generous contributions. Patrol hours correlate directly to the amount of the funds raised each month. Approximately 95% of your contribution goes directly to paying fees for the patrols. The balance pays for nominal expenses (website, community outreach, PayPal fees, if applicable, etc.). The board of directors are residents who generously volunteer their time and care for free. You can cancel at any time!
Can I contribute without setting up a PayPal account?
Yes! You don’t need a PayPal account to contribute online. Use the Contribute button here, and just check out without setting up a PayPal account.
I don’t want to set up online payments, can I still contribute?
Yes, we also accept checks. You are welcome to set up a one-time or, ideally, a recurring payment to Safer Rockridge using the PO Box below.
